  • You talk to clients directly and lead discovery sessions
  • You own architecture decisions on your workstream and document the tradeoffs
  • Two-week increments with working software — no six-month silent builds
  • Security review is part of every engagement, not a separate team's problem
  • You are expected to say when a piece of work is a bad idea
  • Remote-first with quarterly in-person planning
